Charles County, MD – Portions of the Indian Head Rail Trail, from Theodore Green to Route 227, will be closed Monday, May 9 through Wednesday, May 11 for pavement repairs from the pipeline installation. Other portions of the trail will not be affected, and will remain open for public use.
The following portions of the trail will be closed all day on the date indicated:
Monday, May 9 – Theodore Green to Middletown Road – CLOSED
Tuesday, May 10 – Middletown Road to Bensville Road – CLOSED
Wednesday, May 11 – Bensville Road to Route 227 – CLOSED
Repairs will involve the use of heavy equipment and material transport. The closure is necessary to ensure public safety and to expedite completion of repairs.
