Kellam’s Field Concession Stand

October 25, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Town of Chesapeake Beach announces a soft opening of the Concession stand at Kellam’s field will take place Saturday, October 25th with the Beach Buccaneers home games running from 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM as permitted by the Calvert County Health Department. Youth clubs that have entered into a Youth Sports Provider Agreement with the Town are offered the opportunity to use the space with Calvert County Health Department permitting, through a temporary food permit process that is required for each team’s use and for each event date.

These improvements are made possible by the citizens of the Town of Chesapeake Beach as funded through the budgeting process by the Town of Chesapeake Beach Town Council. The Town Council authorized improvements to the concession stand totaling $50,000, which included a new service window, new counter tops, new flooring, new equipment including a glass front merchandising refrigerator, repurposed stainless steel shelving and food warmer from the Water Park.
