LEONARDTOWN, Md. — If you’re looking for a reason to dust off your sneakers, stretch those hamstrings, and relive your recess glory days—kickball season is calling.
St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks announced the return of its Adult Kickball League, a co-ed competition where fun and friendly rivalries take center field. Registration opens Monday, April 21, 2025, for players 18 and up ready to kick it from June through August.
Each team needs a minimum of 10 players to qualify, with a few key rules: a catcher, a pitcher, and at least three female players must be on the field at all times. The league encourages camaraderie, competition, and a bit of nostalgia for the playground days gone by.
Spots are expected to fill quickly, as the league has become a summer staple in Southern Maryland.

For questions, players can contact Zachary Zalovick, Recreation & Parks Sports Coordinator, at Zachary.Zalovick@stmaryscountymd.gov or 301-475-4200 ext. 1830.
Time to lace up and play ball.
