At 6:32 p.m. March 25, TFC R. Lemerise and TFC S. Murphy of the LaPlata trooper barrack responded to the rear of Pinefield North Shopping Center for a report of juvenile drug activity.
Upon their arrival, they detected an odor of burnt marijuana and observed five individuals at the rear of the shopping center.
A probable cause search revealed suspected marijuana on one male juvenile, 16 years, of Waldorf, and a butterfly knife on another male juvenile, 17 years, of Waldorf.
Both juveniles were arrested, processed and released to their parents.
