Large Shed Fire Contained In Chesapeake Beach

CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. — Firefighters responded to a large shed fire Tuesday evening in the 4000 block of Pinewood Terrace.

The call came in around 5:55 p.m., May 20, 2025, for a 20-by-30-foot shed with heavy fire showing. Crews quickly knocked down the flames, and continued to check for hotspots.

The area had no hydrants, so tankers from Huntingtown, Dunkirk, and St. Leonard were used to supply water.

Firefighters operated for about 90 minutes. Chief 6B held command. No injuries were reported.
