BALTIMORE –  Time is running out for Marylanders to secure health insurance coverage for 2025. Maryland Health Connection, the state’s official health insurance marketplace, is reminding residents that the enrollment deadline is quickly approaching. Marylanders must enroll in a health plan by Wednesday, January 15, 2025, to ensure coverage for the upcoming year.

To support last-minute enrollment, Maryland Health Connection will host statewide enrollment events offering free, in-person assistance. These events provide trained experts who can answer questions, explain coverage options, and help complete applications. Marylanders can also enroll by phone, on the MHC mobile app, or online at MarylandHealthConnection.gov.  Maryland Health Connection also offers an opportunity to connect with authorized insurance brokers with Broker Connect, where a broker can discuss private health plan options in 30 minutes or less.

Now through January 15 residents can enroll in a 2025 health plan and secure peace of mind knowing they are covered for essential medical needs such as doctor visits, mental health services, emergency care and more. Maryland Health Connection is the only place to receive financial help to lower the cost of health insurance, making coverage more affordable than ever.

  1. is this the rightplace to make a comment about medical procedures? Abortions? Maryland should consider having a cap on the number of abortions allowed in the state. A maximum number per year + thats it. It doesn’t look like there is 1.
