LEONARDTOWN, Md. – The Leonardtown Business Association is excited to announce April’s First Friday events, featuring Sip, Shop & Hop, a weekend filled with shopping, dining, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun throughout town.
This month’s excitement begins even earlier with “A Most Egg-Ceptional Scavenger Hunt,” a free, family-friendly activity designed to keep kids entertained during Spring Break. The self-guided hunt runs March 30 through April 4, inviting participants to explore Leonardtown while searching for hidden eggs at participating businesses.
To get started, pick up a scavenger hunt form at the Old Jail Museum, Town Hall, or Shepherd’s Old Field Market. Follow the clues, find the special Leonardtown eggs, and once completed, return your form to be entered to win fantastic prizes.
Families are also encouraged to return to town on Friday or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a special appearance by everyone’s favorite long-eared guest—the Easter Bunny!

- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – The Easter Bunny is hopping into town
- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Popcorn Friday at Sneade’s
- 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. – Shepherd’s Old Field Market “Spring Fling” Sale
- 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. – Free tours at the Old Jail Museum
- 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Oysters & craft beer at Everyday Saint Brewhouse
- 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Bowl 29 at Shepherd’s Old Field Market
- 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. – First Friday Opening Reception: Unity Art Show at the St. Mary’s County Arts Council
- 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Live music with Latric Carr at Port of Leonardtown Winery
- 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Music Bingo at Leonardtown Cigars
- 8 p.m. – DJ Night at The Rex
