
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — With fewer than two weeks remaining in the first round of voting for America’s Favorite Small Towns, Leonardtown residents and supporters are stepping up efforts to secure votes and advance to the semifinal round of the national contest.
The annual Parade.com competition highlights small towns across the country, inviting the public to cast ballots for their favorites. Leonardtown, known for its historic charm, waterfront views and close-knit community, is vying for a spot among the semifinalists.
“We would love your VOTE for your small town — Leonardtown!” community organizers said in a call to action on their recent Facebook post. The post also states that “Each vote is an entry to win $1,500 cash toward their next trip or vacation!”
The deadline for the first round of voting is approaching rapidly, and local leaders are urging residents, businesses and visitors to click through and support the town.

How To Vote
Voters can cast their selections at the America’s Favorite Small Towns website hosted by Parade.com. The current round determines which towns will move forward as semifinalists.
