LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On June 8, 2024, the Leonardtown Square will be home to a Hometown Heroes Celebration to celebrate our local first responders.

The event will offer live music, food and drinks, meet and greet with local first responders, and special vehicles on display.

Money will also be raised for the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department& Rescue Squad. All money raised will be donated in memory of Brice Trossbach, a local firefighter who tragically passed away on June 27, 2023.

The event will also hold an antique pedal fire truck raffle. The fire truck, which was donated by the family of Bubby Knott, also has a special plate on the tailgate that is dedicated to Trossbach.
