On May 1, 2011 deputies responded to a residence on

Fir Way

in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of an assault in progress.  Investigation revealed Ashley Marie Prier, 24 of Lexington Park, Maryland was engaged in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical assault when Prier bit the victim.  Prier was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
