16 Year Old Shoplifter Charged and Sent Home to Mom
At 8:30 p.m. on July 12, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Spencer’s located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf for the report of a theft.
Investigation revealed a 16-year-old girl of Waldorf concealed merchandise and exited the store without paying for it. An employee of the store detained her and called the police. She was arrested and charged with theft less than $100. She was released to the custody of a parent. Officer R. Kimble is investigating.
Vaguely Described Man Makes Off With 10 MP3 Players
At 8:17 p.m. on July 15, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Target located at 3300 Western Parkway in Waldorf for the report of a theft.
Investigation revealed the suspect placed 10 Samsung MP3 players in a shopping basket and exited the store without paying for them. The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35 years of age wearing a black T-shirt. Theย man may have exited the store via a fire exit. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer J. Cooney is investigating.
Teen Pays Less Everywhere
At 7:22 p.m. on July 24, TPR Chirichella responded to Fashion Bug for a shoplifting complaint.
Investigation revealed that Fahren Lynn Wilson, 18, of Chesapeake Beach, was stopped by a store employee when she attempted to leave the premises without paying for merchandise.ย
During the investigation, an employee of Payless Shoes arrived and stated that Ms. Wilson had stolen a pair of shoes approximately 10 minutes prior to TPR Chirichella’s arrival.ย
Wilson was placed under arrest for theft (-$100).ย After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
