St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office conducted underage compliance checks on October 9th at various liquor stores, restaurants, and bars.
During the compliance checks Alcohol Enforcment Coordinator, Corporal James Stone and Deputy Rozier Steinbach utilized underage confidential informants to attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages from seventeen predetermined locations in St. Mary’s County. Five establishments failed the compliance check.
The retail license holders for these establishments will be cited for the sale of liquor to minors and will face possible fines and/or suspension of their liquor licenses.

Toots Bar – 23971 Mervell Dean Rd, Hollywood, MD.
Cook’s Liquors – 25765 Three Notch Rd, Hollywood, MD.
Boatman’s Mini-mart – 41106 Oakville Rd, Mechanicsville Md.
TJ Cantina –30320 Triangle Drive, Charlotte Hall, MD.
The Green Door – 18098 Point Lookout Rd, Park Hall, MD.
