. Upon successfully identifying the female operator of the vehicle, Tpr. Wiesemann inquired about the identity of the male passenger. The male passenger had no identification available but provided the Trooper with a name and date of birth. Investigations led to the discovery that the information provided by the subject was false information. The male subject was ultimately identified as Martin Durrell Yates, 22, of Loveville. Mr. Yates was arrested for False Statement to Police Officer and on additional outstanding warrants. Upon being transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center Mr. Yates was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
