Man Arrested After Gun Discharged During Fight At Dave & Buster’s

HANOVER, Md. — A Bowie man was arrested early Sunday after a gun was fired during a fight at Dave & Buster’s in Arundel Mills Mall.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, officers working secondary employment at the entertainment venue at 7000 Arundel Mills Circle were escorting a large group from the premises around 12:50 a.m. on March 16, 2025 when an altercation broke out inside the main bar area.

During the scuffle, an officer reported hearing a gunshot and spotted two men fighting, one of whom was armed. The officer intervened and took the suspect into custody without further incident.

Investigators determined that the weapon, a Glock Model 23 .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, discharged into the floor during the struggle. No injuries were reported.

The suspect, identified as Jodien Lorenz Gordon, 22, of Bowie, was charged with multiple offenses, including:

  • Handgun on person
  • Loaded handgun on person
  • Firearm use in a felony-violent crime
  • First-degree assault
  • Second-degree assault
  • Reckless endangerment
  • Disorderly conduct

On March 17, Judge Thomas J. Pryal ordered Gordon to be held without bond.
