  1. Active parole for murder (?). Sounds like demoncratic maneuver for the good of the community! Let’s all get behind this reform…

  2. In September 2000, Damion Anqwan Wilson, who was 18 years old at the time pled guilty to the murder of Gayle A. Cooke. Wilson pled guilty to the reduced charge of second-degree murder in Cook’s death to avoid a life sentence or the death penalty for first degree murder. The “30-YEAR sentence was AGREED UPON” during the plea bargain.
Yet, he was running around La Plata in 2024?
One would guess that the judiciary system is not only twisted totally left but also has a fine grip on the ‘new’ math. 2001 + 30 = 2023!!!

  3. “He was on active parole for a murder committed in La Plata.”
Put the judge and Maryland politicians in jail!!!

  4. Was this any surprise? Go after the parole board for not doing their job, or find out if there were any personal connections between the board and him.

  5. Why is a murderer loose on our streets carrying a gun? Something is wrong with our justice system. Part of this is on us. We voted in the judges and politicians who did this.

  6. Why is everyone in the comments surprised? This is the norm, this is what you get for voting
    I’m not shocked one bit
