At 10:55 p.m. Aug. 30, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Acton Lane near Tred Avon Court in Waldorf for the report of a robbery.
Investigation revealed a 20-year-old man was walking home when he was approached by three male suspects.
They assaulted him, stole his book bag and fled down Acton Lane toward Route 301.
Shortly after, the victim was riding his bike near Tanglewood Drive when he was approached by five male suspects. They demanded his money and assaulted him.
The victim did not have any money and the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
The victim received minor injuries from both incidents.
All eight suspects were described only as black males.
