During a patrol on August 22, 2015, Corporal D. Corcoran spotted a white male whom he confirmed had an outstanding warrant.
Suspect John R. Townshend, age 56, of no fixed address, was placed under arrest. Further investigation revealed stolen merchandise from Sheetz and Auto Zone. Drug paraphernalia was also in Townshend’s possession.
Townshend was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Possession with Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia.
