Lexington Park, MD— On Dec. 25, at 11:08 p.m., Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack Trooper Geyer responded to Foxchase Drive in Lexington Park for a reported assault.
The female victim advised that Larry Matthew Thomas, 31 of Lexington Park, had grabbed her throat and slammed her head against the wall.
According to court documents “He (Thomas) called me a ‘whore’ and a ‘bitch’. He grabbed me by my throat and started to tell me ‘ I’m going to kill you or I’ll get somebody to kill you.”
I (Trooper Geyer) observed three children crying and holding each other in the back room in the apartment,” according to court documents.
Mr.Thomas was placed under arrest for second-degree assault and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
Thomas has a court date set for Jan.28 at St. Mary’s County District Court. Thomas faces a maximum jail sentence of 10 years and or a maximum fine of $2,500.
