Toby Tenuta, of Port Republic, MD, has announced a challenge!
“March 16th, 2017. A day that I will never forget, due to the phone call I received that night around 9 p.m. Little did I know, that one call would cause a series of events leading to me being the Maryland Representative for such an incredible non-profit organization, along with meeting all of the amazing people I have met through this journey.
In honor of Team Hailey Hugs, and our fantastic supporters, there is a Maine Goes Gold For Childhood Cancer event on August 31st all day long.
“With that said I throw out a challenge. (Focused towards, but not limited to, my friends in Maryland) if we raise $250 in donations between July 19 and August 31st, I will shave my head,” Tenuta aid. “As a Bonus, (if said person is willing) I will let the top donor be the one to do it!!”
That leaves 41 days to donate what you can. This is all to raise money for and promote Childhood Cancer Awareness! There are very few conditions to this deal, and they are listed as is, below;
- All donations made for this challenge will only count if made through the Toby Tenuta Challenge, meaning, they must be donated via sent to Tenuta directly, whether by mail, bank deposit, and/or online services (including CashApp and PayPal) to be processed to the team.
- Donations can be made using the “donate button” on Toby Tenuta’s Facebook page
- Only donations between July 19 10 p.m.. and August 30 11:59 p.m.
- If we pass our $250 goal before the half way mark, I will do something extra special for $500 raised total.
