UPDATE – 3/5/2026 – Deputies Apply Tourniquet After Violent Stabbing In Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Emergency crews are on the scene of a stabbing Wednesday morning in Lexington Park involving a 40-year-old man.

First responders were dispatched around 8:25 a.m. on Feb. 25, 2026, to the 20700 block of Colby Drive for a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, crews located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. A tourniquet was applied to his right arm to control bleeding.

Due to the severity of the injuries, a medical evacuation was requested, and Maryland State Police Trooper 7 helicopter is en route to transport the victim to a trauma center.

An adult male suspect is currently in custody. Additional details have not yet been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
