
LEONARDTOWN, Md. – Mobile Crisis Response services, provided by iMind Behavioral Health, Inc., is currently looking for a new service provider to get their services back up and running.
The free services, which provided immediate onsite crisis intervention and debriefing, ended on March 14th in Charles and St. Mary’s counties.
Jacquie Wells is the director of the Division of Community Engagement and Policy for the St. Mary’s County Health Department. She says they’re working on a solution to bring it back and requested proposals last week.
“We are currently in the process of identifying a new service provider and hope to offer Mobile Crisis Response services in the community again soon,” Wells told The BayNet.

Additionally, crisis evaluation and counseling services are available at the St. Mary’s County Health Hub, located at 21625 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
