On Jan.31, at 12 p.m., Tpr. J. Pilkerton responded to the 21000 block of Lynn Drive in Lexington Park for the reported disturbance.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female victim, 41 of Lexington Park, who advised she was assaulted by her 15-year-old son. The juvenile was taken into custody for second-degree assault. Prior to leaving the residence with the juvenile, the mother turned over a green cigar case and a green plastic baggie both containing marijuana seeds she had found in his bedroom.
The juvenile was transported to the Leonardtown Barrack for processing. He was later released to his mother pending further action by Juvenile Services.
