
INDIAN HEAD, Md. — Three people were injured following a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Indian Head.
The crash occurred around 7:41 p.m. on April 5, 2026, at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Chapmans Landing Road. Initial reports indicated a two-vehicle collision, with one vehicle leaving the roadway and ending up in a wooded area.
An 84-year-old patient was transported by ground ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center with injuries. Two additional patients from the second vehicle, a 52-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, were transported to Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Traffic on Indian Head Highway was shut down in both directions for a period of time as crews operated and investigators assessed the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
