Just a few days after hosting the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series, Budds Creek, Maryland was the host to the debut of the newest motocross bike in Kawasakiโ€™s stable, the 2011 KX250F.

This kind of thing happens every year, but usually out in Southern California, which is the mecca of motocross.ย  With Budds being a part of the national motocross series for so long itโ€™s not a surprise, but I am sure it is a welcome opportunity to host a debut like this.ย  This debut draws almost every magazine and website in the motocross industries attention to Budds Creek.

Every website and magazine wants photos of the latest changes, and looks, of the newest bikes coming out.ย  They bring photographers, videographers, a writer, and even their very own test riders to collect as much information as possible, in hopes that they are the first to bring it to their readers around the country.ย  This may be more of a surprise to the local population than the thousands of people in the motocross industry, but this debut is just another example of what this track means in the motocross world.ย

The track at Budds Creek is more than just a track that debuts new bikes, and has hosted pro racing for more than two decades.ย  Jonathan Beasley, owner and operator, also hosts races at Budds for amateur riders at least once or twice a month, from January through November.ย  If you are looking for some local race action, check out the amateur schedule for the Motocross Park on their website, www.buddscreek.com.

ย While you are checking out the action, you will see why this is one of the best motocross tracks in the country, and you may just see one or two of the future stars of this high flying sport.
