
NAVAL AIR PATUXENT RIVER, Md. — The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River will host a Functional Areas of Business Summer Workshop from June 22–25 for rising high school juniors, seniors and 2026 high school graduates.
The program, shared by the NAS Patuxent River School Liaison, is designed to introduce students to the various business disciplines that support NAWCAD’s mission at Pax River.
According to event organizers, the hands-on workshop will include a resume workshop, mock interviews, naval base tours, guest speakers and networking opportunities. The event aims to give students exposure to career paths in business and operational fields that support naval aviation and defense programs.
Applications for the summer workshop will be accepted through Feb. 27. Interested students must apply online, HERE.
Naval Air Station Patuxent River is home to NAWCAD, which conducts research, development, testing and evaluation of naval aircraft and systems.
Organizers encourage eligible students with an interest in business, government service or defense support careers to submit applications before the deadline.
