WALDORF, Md. — Charles County Government will host the next in-person community meeting on the proposed Charles County Sports and Wellness Complex on Wednesday, May 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Waldorf Senior and Recreational Center in Waldorf.
The session will include interactive tabletop discussions focused on specific amenities and programming for the planned facility. Residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance using an online form, with responses to be shared at future meetings.
This event follows a series of prior public engagement efforts. The first in-person meeting was held in January 2025, drawing more than 300 attendees. A virtual session took place on March 24, followed by another in-person meeting on March 26. These gatherings focused on project updates and gathering input on preferred features for the complex.
