VALLEY LEE, Md. – On January 31, 2024, at approximately 9:45 p.m., emergency personnel responded to Flat Iron Road in the area of St. George’s Church Road for a single motor vehicle accident.
Crews arrived on the scene and found the vehicle off the roadway on its roof. However, despite the severity of the crash, both occupants of the vehicle were unharmed and had managed to exit the vehicle by the time help arrived. They were evaluated at the scene and declined further medical assistance.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office advises you to AVOID Flat Iron Road and St. George’s Church Road due to the vehicle crash. Consider an alternative route for the next 20 minutes.
