HUNTINGTOWN, Md. – At approximately 12:15 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the motor vehicle accident on in the area of Solomons Island Road and Mulberry Lane in Huntingtown.

Crews arrived to the scene to find the single vehicle into a guardrail with one patient ejected from the vehicle. EMS is requesting assistance by a paramedic unit.

It has been determined by ems and paramedic on scene that the patient will need advance care and will be transported to a nearby trauma center by helicopter.
