CALIFORNIA, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday night at the intersection of Three Notch Road and First Colony Boulevard, sending one person to the hospital.
The collision was reported at about 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2025. Firefighters from Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, along with EMS and St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office deputies, arrived to find two damaged vehicles in the intersection.
Crews evaluated one patient on scene before transporting them to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further care.
The crash remains under investigation.
