One Trapped, Injured After Serious Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash In Port Tobacco

PORT TOBACCO, Md. — On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, emergency crews responded to a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Chapel Point Road and Locust Grove Drive, where one vehicle overturned and left a man trapped inside.

First responders were dispatched around 2:55 p.m. after a caller reported that one of the vehicles had flipped and the occupant was moving but unable to exit.

Firefighters from Rescue Engine 1 and Engine 11 arrived shortly after, confirmed the entrapment, and stabilized the overturned vehicle before cutting off the roof to free the occupant.

The man was successfully extricated and transported by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center for further evaluation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
