LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Emergency personnel responded to a serious single-vehicle accident on Point Lookout Road, near St. Andrews Church Road, at approximately 11:34 a.m. on March 9, 2024.
First responders arrived at the scene to find a Ford Ranger pickup truck overturned, its sole occupant trapped inside. Firefighters quickly stabilized the truck and removed the roof to extricate the driver.
EMS evaluated the driver at the scene. The individual, however, declined further medical attention.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
