GREAT MILLS, Md. – On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the Patuxent High School baseball team secured the 2024 Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC) championship by defeating La Plata High School 2-1 at Chancellor’s Run Regional Park.
Both teams had a tremendous year with the Patuxent Panthers having a 16-2 record. The La Plata Warriors had a 12-4 record.
