The Patuxent Pub & Grill is the brain-child of nobody…and pretty much everybody! When the local watering hole closed down after a successful 8 year run, an intrepid band of regular customers were distraught over where they were going to continue having their scholarly debates about the economy, religion, fine arts, international affairs and the state of education in America. You’re not buying any of this, are you? And, seriously, if you’re actually reading the stuff on the “About Us” part of our web page you probably have way too much time on your hands…but I’ll indulge you anyway.
Part of what you just read is true – this location was our local watering hole and we were pretty concerned about where our next beer was coming from. A group of regulars decided that we needed to save the local pub so we pooled our resources and formed the Patuxent Pub & Grill, LLC. That’s a fancy way of saying we bought a Pub! “We” are a mix of friends from various backgrounds – network engineer, electrical engineer, helicopter pilot, broadcast media, policeman/cattle rancher, bartender (8 years), dental receptionist, mortgage industry, hard working mother…you name it, we’ve probably done it…except running a restaurant. It’s a good thing we hired professionals to run the place for us! Our assembled includes top notch collection of chefs, bartenders and servers to ensure your experience at the Patuxent Pub & Grill is a memorable one.
