Winter Wonders touches on many of the magical aspects of this holiday season, from the wonder expressed in โO Magnum Mysteriumโ at the birth of the Christ child to a desire to โLet It Snowโ to those quirky Christmas wishes like โI Want Crabs for Christmas!โย There is something special for every listener in the hour-long program. Itโs a great way to put your whole family in the Christmas spirit.
This season Patuxent Voices is directed by Iain Sturrock, who will conduct several selections in the concert as well as provide percussion. The 12 members of Patuxent Voices come from Calvert and St. Maryโs Counties. In addition to giving two sets of concerts annually, one at Christmas and one in the spring, Patuxent Voices can be seen at a variety of community events. During the holiday season, they will perform at the Calvert Marine Museum for the Solomons Christmas Walk on Friday, December 5 at 7:00 and at Sotterley Plantation for Christmas Traditions by Candlelight on Friday, December 19 from 6:30 โ 8:30 p.m.ย โLike usโ on Facebook for notifications of upcoming performances.
