LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Therapy animals from Pets on Wheels will visit the Lexington Park Library on Feb. 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., offering community members a chance to read with or pet therapy animals in a relaxed setting.

In a recent Facebook post, the Lexington Park Library stated, “Friends of all ages are invited to practice reading with a furry friend, or just enjoy some pets and snuggles.”

Registration is not required to attend the event.

The event offers a unique opportunity for families and friends to enjoy an evening at the library, connect with therapy animals and share the joy of reading together. Community members are encouraged to stop by the Lexington Park Library, bring along family and friends, and experience a fun, heartwarming program that welcomes readers and animal lovers of all ages. The Lexington Park Library is part of the St. Mary’s County Library system, which encompasses Charlotte Hall, Leonardtown and Lexington Park.
