At 6:50 pm on Thursday, October 19, a man responded to the Maryland State Police Barrack and reported he had been assaulted.
The victim advised that Michael Wayne Weston, 29, of no fixed address, had arrived at his home and approached him. The victim returned some money he owed to Weston. When Weston got the money he punched the victim in the mouth, causing his lip to bleed.
The victim went into his home and remained there until Weston left.
Weston was arrested on an arrest warrant for 2nd degree assault. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
