
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A 58-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Lexington Park.
The collision occurred around 7:55 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2025, at the intersection of Pegg Road and Watt Drive. Responders found the man suffering from leg pain following the crash.
EMS evaluated the pedestrian at the scene before transporting him to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not injured.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

When are the sidewalks going to be constructed? Too many people walk on the street in dark clothing no reflective gear or lighting after dark and wet weather. I see way too many pedestrians walking on the road every day in less than ideal conditions.
