On September 19, 2015, at about 2:35 am, patrol officers were called to the 13000 block of Indian Head Highway for the report of a crash involving two cars. When officers arrived, they found Blue suffering from critical injuries. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Preliminarily, it appears Blue was in the southbound lanes of Indian Head Highway trying to make a left turn onto Old Fort Road when she was struck by a car heading northbound.
Blue is retired from the Prince George’s County Fire Department.
