Enjoy a free admission day at the Piney Point Lighthouse, Museum & Historic Park on Sunday, December 9 from 12 noon to 4 pm. The museum and keeper’s quarters will be filled with political memorabilia on loan from private collectors in our community, all displayed in a holiday setting!
Kids will enjoy the hands-on activities as well as voting for their favorite American President with an official Piney Point Lighthouse Ballot. Children should also sign up for the free boy and girl’s bike raffle provided by the Tall Timbers Optimist Club. Visitors are invited to climb the lighthouse tower and view the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit. Stroll the boardwalk and pier and enjoy the scenic view of the Potomac River, Piney Point, and St. George Island.
