The Piney Church Road Mulch Facility (5370 Piney Church Road, Waldorf) will reopen today to accommodate residents cleaning up fallen trees and debris from the storm that impacted Charles County on Saturday, Feb. 25. The Piney Church Mulch Facility is open Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This facility will operate through Dec. 31. Mulch is available at this facility for residents during normal operating hours. Residents will need to bring a pitchfork or shovel to load themselves. Mulch loading will resume on Saturdays only: 7:30 a.m. to noon, loading is available for non-commercial trucks and trailers at no charge.
