SEVERN, Md. — Detectives from the Regional Crimes Unit of the Anne Arundel County Police Department are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Royal Farms store located at 1624 Annapolis Road in Severn on April 23, 2024.
According to police, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a male suspect approached the counter and displayed the handle of a pistol tucked into his clothing. He then demanded cash from the store employee. After the employee complied, the suspect fled the scene on foot toward Blue Water Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’5” tall with a thin build. He was seen wearing dark clothing and a mask.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call the robbery detectives at 410-222-4720. Information can also be provided anonymously through the police department’s tip line at 410-222-4700.

I believe the Royal Farms address is misrepresented in the article if the suspect fled by foot to Blue Water. The Royal Farms in Odenton is located at 1560 Annapolis Road at the corner of Blue Water.
