ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. — The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival will return July 10–13, 2025, for its 25th anniversary celebration, bringing four days of live music, local cuisine, and waterfront views to venues throughout St. Mary’s County.

Organizers are marking the festival’s silver anniversary with a packed schedule featuring nationally recognized jazz performers, Southern Maryland seafood, and events at multiple scenic locations.

The celebration kicks off Thursday, July 10, with “A Jazz at Sunset Affair on the Potomac” at Piney Point Lighthouse. The evening will include music by Higher Standards, local wines, seafood hors d’oeuvres and dancing from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person.

On Friday, July 11, the festival continues with “Artful Harmonies: A Plein Air Celebration” at the St. Clement’s Island Museum. Artists may register for $10 to paint on the museum grounds beginning at 5:30 a.m. That evening, a free “Jazz in the Neighborhood” concert on the museum lawn will feature the U.S. Navy Band, The Commodores, with opening music from the St. Mary’s Ryken Jazz Band. Food trucks and vendors will also be available.

Saturday, July 12, serves as the main event at St. Clement’s Island Museum from noon to 7 p.m. Performers include Casual Groove, Rebecca Jade, Andréa Lisa and Chelsey Green. The event also features seafood vendors, shopping booths, free admission to the museum, and complimentary water taxi rides to St. Clement’s Island. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $95 for VIP access.

The festival concludes Sunday, July 13, with two separate experiences: a jazz brunch at the Riverview Restaurant at Wicomico Shores Golf Course from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($50 per person or $90 per couple), and a series of three intimate jazz cruises departing from the museum throughout the day. Each cruise lasts two hours, includes food, drinks and live music by Sax Appeal. Tickets are $85 per person, with only 15 spots available per cruise.

Tickets and full event details are available at www.PotomacJazzFest.com. Updates can also be found on the festival’s Facebook page at facebook.com/SCIMuseum/events.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of St. Clement’s Island & Piney Point Museums. The festival is organized in partnership with the St. Mary’s County Museum Division, the St. Mary’s County Arts Council and other local organizations.
