PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. โ€” A black Chevrolet pickup truck struck a utility pole Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Hallowing Point Road and Prince Frederick Boulevard. Emergency responders dispatched multiple units to the scene after reports indicated the vehicle had left the roadway and collided with electrical infrastructure.

The Prince Frederick accident occurred on September 21, 2025, around 3:55 p.m. first responders received reports of a truck that had gone off the road and hit a pole. According to dispatch, the single-vehicle collision involved a black Chevrolet pickup truck with four occupants including three children and one adult male.

Calvert County emergency units across the county responded. Initial reports indicated unknown injuries with potential hazards due to the electrical pole involvement. Subsequently, emergency crews arrived to assess the scene and evaluate occupants for injuries.

The collision involved electrical pole infrastructure and emergency crews determined no one was trapped or pinned in the vehicle.

The accident scene showed no vehicles on fire and no occupants were thrown from the pickup truck during the collision. Additionally, emergency responders confirmed there was no significant fuel or fluid leak from the damaged vehicle. The intersection location required traffic management during the emergency response.

Emergency Medical Services evaluated all four occupants at the scene. The presence of three children in the vehicle prompted thorough medical assessment to ensure no injuries were overlooked. The adult male driver also received medical evaluation following the collision.

The cause of the pickup truck leaving the roadway remains under investigation. Weather and road conditions at the time of the accident have not been released by authorities.

The condition of the electrical pole and any power outages have not been confirmed by utility companies.
