What a GLORIOUS DAY!! First Missionary Baptist Church officially dedicated the new edifice this past weekend.
Over 400 people were in attendance to witness the great occasion. It included pastors from all over, especially those from right here in the county. It showed that we celebrate love among each other regardless of our denominations. Moreover, the churches from the Potomac River Baptist Association, overwhelmingly came out in bus loads.
Dr. Martirano, Superintendent of the St. Mary’s County Public School System, said that we were planting a seed for tomorrow’s children. Pastor Roderick W. McClanahan saw the need for a larger place & succeeded in that vision.
We love our pastor for their is greater work to do in the community – “GOD’s KINGDOM” as he always tells us!
