I think Tommy McKay has really gone over the top this time with his less than truthful statements.
He has declared virtually everywhere that he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland in 1979.
A check with the Registrar at the University of Maryland, however, reveals that there was “no degrees awarded.” (Verification of an awarded degree is public information and nothing underhanded was done to obtain this information.)
Further, his enrollment between 1977 and 1979 included 3 full-time semesters, 2 half-time semesters and “less than half-time” in the Spring of 1979.
He would be one smart cookie if he got a degree that fast.
I find this more than alarming! If he is totally untruthful about his educational background, how can anyone trust his credibility on any other matter?
And he wants to be our State Senator?
