The Board of County Commissioners for St. Mary’s County and the Department of Recreation and Parks are pleased to invite the public to the annual Easter Festival on Saturday, April 23, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Leonard Hall Recreation Center in Leonardtown.
Vendor spaces are currently being solicited. Vendors pay a one time flat rate fee of $50.00 to guarantee space at the festival to sell their goods. Past vendors have priority and are given space first. Tables and chairs are available to vendors on a first come first serve basis. All Groups and organizations conducting the sale of food and beverage must comply with all pertinent local and state Health Department regulations and MUST provide the Department with a copy of the Health Department certification at the time of the event and/or submitted with the use agreement. It is understood that vendors that do not submit the permit will be asked to leave the event. The Easter Festival includes many attractions, egg hunts and decorating contests for children of all ages. Pony rides, costume characters, carnival attractions, crafts, face painting, concessions, and of course the Easter Bunny is also part of the day’s fun. Children from all over the County have a fantastic day of family fun. The yearly attendance of the event ranges from 1500 participants to 2000 participants.
