According to court documents, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office (SMCSO) responded to a report of a suspicious person at approximately 11 p.m. on June 5, 2025, in the area of Winding Way in Lexington Park. When deputies arrived, they allegedly observed a male subject walking along the sidewalk wearing a black tank top and black shorts. Deputies interviewed witnesses who reported seeing a man matching that description yelling and banging on a residence across the street.
Police records indicate that deputies made contact with the residents of the home, who said they had been asleep when they were awakened by loud banging and yelling outside their door. According to court documents, the door of the residence displayed damage to the hinge and door frame consistent with forced impact.
Deputies later made contact with Corbin, who was reportedly dressed in a black tank top and black shorts. According to police documents, Corbin appeared highly intoxicated and allegedly made statements referencing Charles County and the Ranch Club. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Corbin is currently scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 12, 2025, for a jury trial related to the charges. Malicious destruction of property less than $1,000 in Maryland carries a maximum penalty of 60 days’ incarceration and a $500 fine, while fourth-degree burglary carries a maximum penalty of up to three years of incarceration.
