Richard Henry Quade, Jr., passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Waldorf, Maryland. He was born on June 5, 1930, in Prince Frederick, Maryland, to the late Richard Henry Quade, Sr., and Julia Rebecca Quade.
Richard worked in construction for the union as a maintenance worker until his retirement. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, crabbing, and fishing.
He is survived by his children: Henry Robert, Russell, Larry, William, Judy, Wendy, Mary, Tina, Barbara, Betty Sue, Cindy, Doris Jean, Katie, and Brandy. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Annette, Therea, Robert A., Teresa, Dale Jr., Becky, Kellie, Robert, Terry, Johnny, Spencer, Roland Jr., Jay, Alan, Amber, Ashley, Jennifer, Bryan, Russell Jr., Zackery, Rachael, Sherry, April, Eddie, Chuckie, Ronnie Jr., Amanda, Julie, Becky, Reianna, Billy Ray, Matthew, Whitney, Dillon, and Jacob. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers: Johnny, Tommy, and Timmy, as well as his sisters: Mary Elizabeth, Ruby, Susan, Barbara Jean, Henritta, Kristina, Irene, and Hardy, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Roland, his grandchildren: Tammy, Ricky, Noah, and Charlie, his sister Alice, and his brothers Caci, Herbert, and Jimmy.
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
