Park Hall, MD – On Feb. 26, Deputy Shane Cameron and Deputy Lawrence responded to the 19000 block of Point Lookout Road in Park Hall, for a single vehicle accident.

The vehicle involved in the collision was located unoccupied. While deputies were conducting the investigation and waiting for the tow company to arrive to remove the vehicle, the operator of the vehicle returned to the scene accompanied by her friend, later identified as suspect Jamie Lee Clarke, 21, of St. Inigoes (pictured).

When Clarke learned the vehicle was going to be towed he became disorderly, yelling and cursing at deputies. Clarke was advised to stop raising his voice and using foul language and he refused. The owner of the vehicle attempted to get Clarke to calm down with no success.

Clarke became increasingly aggressive toward deputies. Cameron and Lawrence approached Clarke to place him under arrest at which time Clarke attempted to take Lawrence to the ground by grabbing him around the legs. Clarke then swung his fists at both deputies.

Clarke was eventually taken into custody and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center. He was charged with two counts of assault second-degree and disorderly conduct.

According to court documents, Clarke has since been released. A court hearing date has not been set at this time.
