At 2:12 pm on Friday, July 28, TFC Linger stopped a vehicle on Kavanagh Road at Laurel Grove Road, Mechanicsville, when the driver was observed not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver was identified as Michael John Weigand, 30, of Drayden. During a consent search, a smoking device containing cocaine was located on the driver’s seat.
Weigand was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
